Gray Matter Design created entertaining interactive games for major interactive-media companies. When the company decided to market the software they had created to other game developers, they needed a brand that was still recognizable, but allowed them to play on a much larger scale.
Our first action was changing the company’s name to g/matter, keeping the link to the original name but giving it a more modern |
feel. Keeping the recognizable gray and green color scheme, we stylized the logo to make it more figurative, conveying intelligence rather than “brains!” Over the next two years, we helped g/matter expand its reach, developing a line strategy and identity for 10 new packaged software products, all matching the visual dynamic of the newly energized parent brand. |
