Named a new category of in-flight entertainment

Remember the thrill of looking out a plane window when you were a kid? New York Times travel writer Greg Dicum and technologist Tyler Sterkel did, but their technology that let WiFi-connected airline passengers discover what’s on the ground below needed a name. It had to be both descriptive, emotive, and extensible, but also available on Twitter, Facebook and as a unique URL: MondoWindow. With a great name and exciting technology, MondoWindow took off at SXSW and has developed partnerships with major airlines and content providers.
